Thank you to everyone who turned out to make our event Aug. 2 at Cottonwood Creek Park such a success. More than 370 runners registered (our most optimistic hopes were for 250!). Thank you for your patience as we did our best to register and process participants amid this wonderful but unexpected turnout.
Our Kibali, Rwanda, leg of the race was also quite successful, official registrants were limited by race organizers to 60, but a throng of unofficial partipants (mostly children) joined the runners to create a field of well over 100.

The event raised more than $18,000 toward the Kibali health clinic, as well as for secondary school scholarships and purchasing livestock.
Again, thank you to all who participated, volunteered, or donated to the Run for Rwanda. It was an amazing event and will make a huge difference in the lives of thousands.
Please mark our calendars for next year's race, which is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1 at the same location.
